DESCRIPTION:
The BSN Leukoplast Tape is a skin-coloured surgical tape that has a high quality viscose backing material that is extremely resistant to tension. The zinc oxide caoutchouc adhesive ensures exceptional high initial and permanent adhesion, and the special surface treatment repels dirt and moisture. Leukoplast is recommended when particularly secure fixation is required, and is breathable, thus reducing the risk of skin-maceration.
USES:
Leukoplast Tape is used for the fixation of wound dressings on normal skin. It is also used for securing tubes, catheters, probes or cannulae.
APPLICATION:
- Remove the Leukoplast Tape from the packaging. Find where the tape begins, and peel back until you have enough to cover the dressing. Cut the tape with a scissors and apply to the dressing as required.
